The Duchy of Parzelon is a large swath of relatively pleasant and fertile soil ranging from The Hjolrak Gorge to The Gannelore Sea, west of The Gannelore River. The Duke and Duchess of Parzelon, Stanem Winmore and Beyra Winmore are responsible for the taxing and relevant tax spending of The Duchy of Parzelon.
The Duke and Duchess have tended to leave the operation of Terethenzia, and Hallathay to their respective Earls. The Duke and Duchess predominantly collect taxes for the maintenance of the roads between the towns in The Duchy of Parzelon, the upkeep of shared facilities in Castle Parzelon and the operation of Seserex Fortress.
There are a few small settlements in the woods to the south of Castle Parzelon, but the Duke and Duchess choose to leave them be as they do not contribute to nor consume the shared utilities of The Duchy of Parzelon. Despite this, previous Dukes and Duchesses have been more ruthless in their management of The Duchy of Parzelon and Stanem Winmore and Beyra Winmore have been an improvement in management as far as many of the citizens in The Duchy of Parzelon are concerned.
