King Ailas Titanfoot is losing control of his empire as The Reform Party takes the Chamber of Deputies.
The Reform Party has taken a majority in the Chamber of Deputies, giving it complete control over the leaders of the Executive Branch organisations.
Notable members of the organisation:
- Admiral Heth Bellstone
- General Yeoman Ferant
- Balreth Darnal Ironside
- Darneth Kumal Shuttereye
- Ridgel Luthehd
King Ailas Titanfoot wants to hire a “Black Ops” team, where with limited ties and limited resourcing, he has no direct ties to these actions.
We could open on election day, where the new majority is enacted!!!
BBEG
The BBEG is The Primarch’s Dawn.
Goal
The goal is to reform Falderia with the guidance of each of the primarchs.
This image is slightly different for each primarch.
- Ridgel Luthehd - Believes in a utopia where a singular, efficient government can eliminate chaos and conflict caused by disparate political entities. He sees himself as the architect of a new era of peace and order.
- Balreth Darnal Ironside - Convinced that only through universal adherence to his faith can true salvation and harmony be achieved. He views all other beliefs as heretical distractions that must be purged.
- Darneth Kumal Shuttereye - Driven by a misguided sense of purity, he aims to create a homogeneous society that shares a common lineage, which he believes will prevent future conflicts and disunity.
- Admiral Heth Bellstone - Knowing of another continent and populace, he aims to prepare Falderia for long distance trade, and potentially war. He believes that in this new multi continent world, control of the seas is the ultimate chess move to maintain strength in global politics. He aims to be the grandmaster of this new world order of trade.
- General Yeoman Ferant - He feels that The Thonham Accords have unjustly penalized The Falderian Empire, stifling their potential. He aims to restore his nation’s former glory and power, believing that the ends justify the means.
The Means
- Ridgel Luthehd is manipulating the legislative process to centralize power, making it easier to enact sweeping changes when the primarchs’ plan is set into motion. He is establishing a network of loyalists within the government to prevent opposition, such as rigging elections to select allied deputies, empowering ministers that align with certain strategic visions, and silencing complaints through the chamber majority.
- Balreth Darnal Ironside is indoctrinating citizens and leaders, weaving his faith into the fabric of society (particularly in smaller settlements). He is fabricating miracles to encourage believership. He aims to manage dissent when the plan begins.
- Darneth Kumal Shuttereye is leveraging his authority as Darneth of New Thonham to sanction the use of forbidden magics under the guise of religious rites to research and recreate the Scorched Earth spell.
- Admiral Heth Bellstone is spearheading the research of the Scorched Earth spell in hidden government research programs. In addition, he is using the naval fleet as a means to transport materials, researchers and artifacts vital to the project without being discovered.
- General Yeoman Ferant is subversively preparing the army for an offensive strike, as well as focusing training on military policing such that capturing foreign cities will be easier. He is also attempting to disparage/undermine The Thonham Accords in the minds of his soldiers.
The Backgrounds
- Ridgel Luthehd has a personal vendetta against the current economic system due to the loss of his family fortune, caused by the empire’s focus on social policies.
- Balreth Darnal Ironside believes he is a descendant of a divine prophet, destined to lead the world into a new age of religious enlightenment.
- Darneth Kumal Shuttereye had a vision of a purified world, free from the chaos of differing beliefs, which he interprets as a divine mandate.
- Admiral Heth Bellstone discovered another continent, inhabited by a somewhat more technologically and magically advanced society. He wants to protect Falderia without causing panic.
- General Yeoman Ferant is motivated by a deep-seated belief that the Thonham Accords were unjust, and a betrayal of his ancestors. He longs for a future where Eschenfeld pays for The Race Wars.
