Hovehelm is Eschenfeld’s largest mining city, and is responsible for the output of almost all of it’s precious metals and gems.
Hovehelm is problematically placed across The Floes of Karazak from the rest of Eschenfeld, but is acceptably protected. Approach by land across the Karazak Peninsula is impractical for all but the smallest armies. Attacks by sea from further down the continent are impeded by Unnamed Dwarven Fort and major Dwarven settlements further down the coast.
