The flag represents the elves view and memory of history as some of the longest living free-folk in Falderia. The green triangles represent the trees of The Eroan Wilds. The red lower half represents the blood of enemies shed on Sylvana lands, whilst the blue upper half represents the new day shining over the battlefield.

Sylvana is the elvish state of the union of Eschenfeld. It is named after the Sylvana family, the Royal Family of Gannelore who led the Elves through the millennias of past. The family’s lineage ended during the flooding of Gannelore.
Not much is known about the political state of Sylvana. Following The Race Wars, the previously functioning capital of the Elves, Gannelore, was flooded. Eager to reduce risk, the new government of Sylvana established a decentralized model, known as The Council Watch. The council was distributed amongst the major settlements, including Elvenwatch, Vaeril Caiwarin Fort, and the various minor settlements of The Eroan Wilds.
The new decentralized government resembles a form of representational democracy in which independent cities and regions nominate their representative for the The Council Watch. This allows minor settlements to have a louder voice in the parliament, as well as being resistant to the destruction of any particular capital.
All participating settlements of Sylvana have a large meeting venue, known as an “Ilkaen”. This venue is used to host The Council Watch as it rotates through, engaging in the unique culture and hospitality of every participant.
