In the Northern Marches of Falderia, there is a small human settlement known as Hennick’s Quarry. This village is built around a large quarry that provided the locals with valuable stone for building and trading.

The villagers of Hennick’s Quarry live a simple life, working hard in the quarry during the day and relaxing with their families at night. However, their peaceful existence was disrupted.

A group of dwarves from the Barrowhills stumbled upon the quarry and saw the potential for a profitable partnership. They proposed a deal to the villagers: the dwarves would provide the tools and expertise to extract the stone more efficiently, and in return, they would receive a share of the profits.

The villagers of Hennick’s Quarry were hesitant at first, but they ultimately agreed to the deal. And so, the dwarves began to work in the quarry, quickly increasing the output of stone and making the village prosper.

The excavation of the Barrowhills has brought much destruction to the local environment, causing issues for the native free-folk and beasts.
